Annie began practicing yoga in the fall of 2011 with her mom and quickly developed a consistent practice. After volunteering at Modo Yoga Hamilton as an Ambassador, in 2015 she took her Modo Level 1 Training in Kelowna, BC. Inspired by her practice and growth, Annie completed her Modo Flow in New York in 2017.
What keeps Annie coming back to her mat is how her practice is constantly evolving and changing day to day. Moving with breath helps her reduce her stress and calm her mind when life gets busy, while managing to keep her body feeling strong.
Annie loves Modo community because everyone is connected somehow and no matter which Modo studio you are in, you feel like you are welcome and at home. When Annie isn’t teaching or practicing you can find her rollerblading along Bay Front, gardening, or cuddling with her cat!
